Brockham Harness Club Two Day Event
4th & 5th July 2009
Borde Hill

Dear Competitor

We look forward to welcoming you to Borde Hill Gardens from Friday midday onwards.

Due to changes with the lease of ‘Borde Hill Equestrian’ we have had to go back to our original entrance and stable field on Lullings Farm. The field is rented by one of the Borde Hill tenant farmers so he would very much appreciate it if you could leave it as tidy as possible.

There will be a mains water supply at least at the top and bottom of the stable field but please don’t arrive empty.

The caterer will be on site from late afternoon Friday and the Co-op in Cuckfield village is open 7am to 9pm each day.

If you won trophies last year, please remember to pack them – I will send a separate reminder.

Cones will be along the Ha Ha in front of the main house this year – please go straight to cones after your dressage and remember to drive your dressage
with carriages at correct cones width!

Party tickets that have been pre-paid (or included with entry) will be with your competitor packs available on arrival.

Directions:
From the A23 North or South, take the B2115 exit signed to Warninglid, Cuckfield & Haywards Heath (ignore the 7.5 ton weight limit – this is for Warninglid village). Turn left on the B2115 to Cuckfield.
At the end of the road turn right to Cuckfield B2114. At the first roundabout turn right on to the B2036 to Cuckfield. At the next mini roundabout, turn left in to Ardingly Road signed to Borde Hill Gardens and at the next roundabout turn right in to Hanlye Lane.

The entrance to the Stable Field is first on the left signed to Lullings Farm. Please take care further down the drive through the stone pillars as they are narrower at the top!

From Haywards Heath, turn right in to the one way system signed Station and Lindfield B2028. At the Station roundabout go straight over signed Balcombe and Borde Hill Gardens. At the end of the road, turn left under the bridge in to Balcombe Road. After ½ mile turn left to Cuckfield. The Horse Box entrance is another ½ mile or so on the right hand side signed Lullings Farm.

There will be yellow HDT signs to guide you in – please NO horse boxes to enter through the main Borde Hill Gardens entrance.

See you there.
