Produce
Welsh Lamb. Once again
we are taking orders for our wonderful Welsh Lamb. Whole Lamb or Half Lamb boxes will
be available around end of October 2010 and can be delivered by courier in insulated boxes
and kept cool by special ice packs. The price is dependent upon weight, but will be
in the region of £100 per whole lamb.
Rare Breed Pork. Orders for
October are full and the next batch will be ready around late January/early February 2011.
Our order book is open. so please don't hesitate to email or call if you'd like to
reserve some of our wonderful meat.
Whole or half pigs by weight. Roasting joints, chops, sausages etc.
Our free range hens provide eggs (in assorted
sizes and colours!) available at the door for £1.80 per dozen.
Our free range duck eggs also for sale at
£1.00 per half dozen.
The fruit and veg garden continues to provide
us with seasonal produce. When we find the time we hope to be able to set up a 'shop' for
passing trade.

Livestock
Rare Breed Pigs - Weaners. Our
gorgeous Middle White Sow, Molly, is due to farrow early in August and we will put
information about her litter on here as soon as we have some exciting news to share. Also,
Daisy, the Berkshire sow, is heavily in-pig and likewise, more information will be posted
as soon as she has farrowed around the end of August. For the devoted followers of our
Gloucestershire Old Spots, both Spotty and Gertie are 'resting' at the moment, but both
are looking forward to a return visit of 'hubby' Quaker in October.
We already have several reservations for
weaners in our order book for all 3 of these pure bred Pedigree Rare Breed pigs and so
please do call, or email, or better still come out and visit our Smallholding to see these
delightful animals for yourselves.
