Mwnt B and B has just one room with double bed and en-suite shower room and WC. The accommodation was converted especially for B and B so we have endeavoured to tailor everything to be as convenient as possible for guests.
Room has tea/coffee making facilities and wall mounted TV (Freeview) with built in DVD player. Iron and ironing board can be made available, as can washing and drying if necessary at a small fee. Towels and hand wash are provided, but please bring your own toiletries (see environmental statement)
Mobile phone reception is quite good here, although nearby, in the dips, coverage is patchy. There is a variety of material advertising local attractions and selection of reading material, books and magazines available.
Situated to the side of the main house, the guest room has its own front door and lobby where you can put any muddy boots or wet coats to dry. Access to the dining room for meals is from the lobby too, so you are quite ‘self contained’ and free to come and go as you please. There is off road parking to the front/side of the house and bikes can be securely stored under cover on request. We also can provide bike washing facilities.

Breakfast is served in the dining room, which retains many original features from when the house was ‘modernised’ in the 1880’s such as a fine slate floor and working fireplace which is lit on chilly mornings.
Breakfast is served between 7.00 and 9.00, using locally sourced ingredients where possible. I usually provide a full English breakfast, with our own eggs in season, a choice of cereals, fruit juice, tea and coffee, toast and homemade preserves, but with advance notice can provide an alternative to this, such as a continental breakfast, or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, or you may like to try the Welsh delicacy laverbread...which is usually served with a full cooked breakfast. Special diets can also be accommodated with prior arrangement.
