The Oaks Driving Club

The Oaks Driving Club was formed in 1976 by a group of enthusiasts who wanted to provide the opportunity for carriage drivers to meet and show their turnouts locally. We cover the East Sussex area.

No matter what you drive, how little or much experience you have, even if you don't drive, you can be assured of a warm welcome at The Oaks Driving Club.

NOTICEBOARD

Evolution Event

Do please get your entries in to Moira for the Evolution competition. We will have a Ploughman’s Lunch and then afterwards, practice cones - come and drive as much as you like.

Please see the schedule for our Evolution competition on 16th June

on the 'Events' page.

This will be a fun event and the beauty is you only have to put to once!

There are young horse and pony classes too and if three or more small ponies (see British Carriagedriving height limit in schedule) they too will have their own class.

We will also have a ploughman’s lunch after the prizegiving. And if that isn’t enough fun we will run practice cones in the afternoon. £2 per round, pay on the day.

I hope you’ll find there is something for everyone to enjoy.

In the meanwhile do please get your entry off to Christina for the inside/out at Burchetts Farm in May.
