Silver Jubilee Drive at Battle Abbey
Here are some initial pictures that may be of interest,
showing Mandy and Derek Colbourne driving Laddie on the off-road section. We are sure that
the escorted tour round the battlements and the photo at the end was a highlight for all
participants. We felt like royalty, and are sure that this applied to everybody. Many
thanks to the excellent stewards who made it all so memorable.
Join us on our drive through West Park and round the battlements.

The last picture shows being presented with a prize of a lovely handmade holly whip made
by
Mr G Clothier (THE whip maker at the time )
It has a lovely twist in it which he nurtured over the time he was growing the holly for
the whip.
Hilary wishes to pay credit to her groom at the time, Val Eyres, to whom she owes her success for the terrific plaits that Val does!
