Pentre Brain - Our Meat

 

 

At Pentre Brain we make and sell a range of artisan sausages, bacon and hams, all produced from our rare breed, free range herd of pigs.

 

All of our sausages are made to our own recipes using the finest ingredients and always containing at least 90% meat and always use natural hog casings.

 

Our varieties include:

Apple and cider

Smoked paprika

Breakfast

Herby 100% meat (gluten free)

Sundried tomato and garlic (gluten free)

Herb and garlic

Honey mustard

White wine and tarragon

 

Also Lamb sausages that include lamb and mint and lamb red wine and redcurrant

Along with our sausages we also cure our own back bacon, pancetta and hams. The bacon is dry cured with a slight sweetness and hung for at least a week to intensify the flavour. Our pancetta, cured with lemon, garlic, bay, and juniper berries is perfect for wrapping chicken or fish, pasta, or just as a posh bacon sandwich!

We also now offer smoked bacon and hams that are home smoked over oak.

 

We sell a variety of different sized dry cured hams and gammons, perfect for a Sunday roast or special occasion.
