Events
We have speakers and informal get togethers at our winter meetings and visit various venues to do with goat keeping or smallholding during the summer months. Those new to goat keeping are more than welcome – we are there to offer help and answer questions.
Some of the topics we have covered are:
Coppicing; Woodland Garden projects; Rare breed pigs; Bee keeping;
Cheese making; Felt making; Willow making; Food Preserving; Meat curing;
Seaweed foraging; Worming of Goats; Coppicing; Poultry.
We have also visited:
Dr Benyon’s Bug Farm; A One Planet development site; Various
smallholdings; Honey Farm; Orchard Gardens; Eco-village; Bio-dynamic
Gardening.

outside visits to be arranged. Details of meetings will be put on this page once arranged. |
All our meetings are held the second Saturday of the month (excluding July). Summer venues start 2.00pm at various venues and Winter meetings start with a shared lunch at 12.30pm.
